| Adobe Air Frame Work | The Adobe Frame Work is required to install and run the Elertz Widget
|
| Adobe Flash Plug-in | The Adobe Flash Plug-in or Player is the browser based client runtime that is used with elertz linking code to create the elertz subscription. This acts as a link between the Adobe Air Widget and the browser.

| AffiliateID | An alphanumeric string that identifies which affiliate this subscription was subscribed from. This is useful if a partner wishes to place subscriptions on affiliate websites and wishes to monitor them
|
| Branding Profile | A set of colours, images and sound effect that define how a partner widgets looks and sounds.
|
| BrandingID | A numeric string that identifies which brand profile to assign to an elertz subscription. The branding profile must be that of one owned by the elertz partner who is creating the linking code.
|
| Campaign | A Campaign is process of sending a notification to all users who have subscribed to an elertz subscription. See Notification
|
| Elertz Widget | The Elertz Widget is the client that resides on a users computer to subscribe to elertz subscriptions and receive notifications
|
| ezp_parameter | An ezp_parameter is a variable and value pair which can be used for carrying extra information in subscription string. It is particularly useful for mail elertz personalisation where a campaign message can be made more personal using ezp_parameters
|
| Fire Password | The password that is used to send or 'fire' notifications on an elertz subscription. By default it is the same as the Partner Password. Normally only used when creating notification scripts.

| Linking Code | The HTML / JavaScript code used in with Adobe Flash Plug-in/Player to allow users to subscribe to elertz subscriptions. It is the code that is placed in a web page to create a subscription

| Mailertz | A mailertz is a way of sending an elertz campaign notification using a traditional e-mail client such as Microsoft Outlook.

| Notification | A Notification is the message sent to a user through their subscription. It is typically made up of a Notification Message Header, and a Notification URL. A notification is the actual message that is delivered to your users when you send a campaign. All users who have subscribed to the subscription that this notification is intended for will receive it

| Partner Login | The unique identifier a partner uses to access their elertz account. Used in conjunction with the partner password
|
| Partner Password | The unique identifier a partner uses to access their elertz account. Used in conjunction with the partner login
|
| PartnerID | A numeric string that identifies a partner elertz account. This is used in the 'Linking Code' to identify which elertz partner which owns the subscription channel. It is the first numeric 'chunk' of the linking code. Sometimes called a webmasterID

| Quick Mailertz | Quick Mailertz is the quick version mailertz.

| Schema | Schema is the term used to describe the overall elertz subscription. It includes the two main components that make up an elertz subscription webmaster ID, Subscription Code (sc). Schemas have their own unique identifier known as the schemaID

| SchemaID | The Unique ID that represents the elertz subscription channel or schema. See Schema
|
| Subscription | A Subscription is the actual link that a user clicks on. It describes a topic that the user will be interested in receiving notifications on. It normally appears as a clickable hyper link either text or in button form. This clickable link is known as LinkingCode. A subscription must contain the webmasterID, the brandingID, the schemaID and SubscriptionCode. it can optionally contain a affiliateID, trackingId and ezp_parameters. | Subscription channel | See Subscription

| Subscription Code | A string of text and or numeric which defines an elertz subscription. It is normally carries a descriptive meaning. A go example would be "mycompany.com weekly special offer". This subscription code is held on the backend servers, the porters website as part of the subscription and in the end users widget when they have 'subscribed'. It makes up part of a subscription

| TrackingID | An alphanumeric string that help track a subscribers elertz end user activities. Most valuable when placed on a subscription page where the end user is known - such as page that only subscribed users may access. You can then assign something unique about this user as their trackingID.

| Widget Logo | The raster image that is used to make up the header of the elertz widget. This image is partner configurable through the partner control panel

| Widget Colour | The primary colour that will make up the widgets background colour scheme

| Widget Text Colour | The colour will make up the widgets heading text

| Notification Logo | The raster image that is used to enhance the look of the widgets notification pop up toast
|
| Toast Pop-Up'Bold text' | A pop up alert that is displayed when a new campaign notification is received. See Notification Logo

| Notification Sound | The sound file that is played when a campaign notification is received
